Nu-clear (Zwentendorf)

Zwentendorf is the world's only nuclear power plant (NPP) which never went critical. For good or bad is debatable, it is however a unique place, because you can walk inside the reactor core(!) without being fried instantly. Watch my small photo coverage on the austrian non-radioactive nu-clear power plant.
Main building. Note the solar panels on top (yes, these fellas are actually going to produce electricity after 20 years - using the sun :)
How do these things actually work? Don't worry, the guide will refresh your atomic memories whether you want or not.
The big moment: ...
... A look into the reactor core.
Inside the condensation chamber.
Quite calm in here. If operational this would be a hot, steamy and pretty radioactive place.
Perfect place for a "Das Boot" sequel.
In control of the monster - push the right rods to avoid a corebreach!
The reactor, family friendly view.
See it this way - nothing but a giant teapot.
However - it's out of order.
End of the story: "How it all started…"
